A bachelor of science degree in building construction marked the beginning of Frank Morris’s 40 plus years in the construction and code industry. Now president of Tri-State Consultants, Morris has been a Qualifying Party in six states and has 45 construction/code certifications, including Certified Building Official (CBO), Certified Fire Marshal (CFM), Master Code Professional (MCP), Master Code Enforcement Professional (MCEP), and Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP).

Additionally, Morris has been an instructor of numerous courses for the Southern Building Code Congress International, the International Code Council, several chapters of the AGC, the Building Professional Institute, Home Builders Associations, numerous clients, and many others.
